:: About Us ::

Snoebear Siberians was started in 1979 by Glenn Terella. Glenn's infatuation with the breed began as a teenager when he saw a team of Siberian Huskies at a winter festival. After carefully researching the breed he purchased his first dog from a local breeder and thus began his long standing passion for the breed and its unique qualities.

Glenn and his wife, Beth, began acquiring more Siberians over the years - and started running teams at local sled races. After a few years They decided to expand their kennel to include conformation showing. Glenn wanted his two young sons, Tim and Rick, to also be involved in the sport of dogs, so he encouraged them to start showing in Juniors at AKC shows. Tim and Rick found great success in the show ring. In 2000, Tim was given the 1997 SHCA National Winner, Ch. Highlander's Tool Time, "Al", to show in juniors. The pair took off, winning countless Best Junior awards and qualifying for the Eukanuba Classic three times and Westminster twice. Eventually, when Tim aged out of Juniors, Rick took over showing Al. The two were unstoppable - finishing as the  #1 Junior in the country 2004-2005.

Their Success in Juniors catapulted Tim and Rick into the confirmation ring, completing numerous Championships on their dogs. It wasn't long until top Siberian breeders took notice of these two young handlers and began sending their dogs to them to show. Tim and Rick have finished over 30 Championship titles on Siberian Huskies as well as other breeds.

Today with the efforts of Beth, Rick, and Tim Terella and Megan Moore, Tim's fiancé, Snoebear Siberians boasts a successful breeding program as well as Glennridge Kennels an all-breed professional handling business run by Tim, Rick, and Megan.  They breed for quality Siberian Huskies, not quantity. With emphasis on temperament, health, and physical structure and movement. We only breed when we are interested in progressing our kennel for our use.
