The Past...

Snoebear Siberians was established in 1979 by Glenn Terella. Glenn’s infatuation with the breed began as a teenager when he saw a team of Siberians at a winter festival. Glenn and his wife, Beth, started a small breeding program of sled dogs which eventually led them into the world of dog shows.

 The Present...

Today, Snoebear Siberians is managed by the next generation of the Terella family, continuing the tradition of preservation and purpose-driven breeding. In 2012, we began a joint venture with Hiroyo Shimizu of Crystal Fountain Siberians in Tokyo, Japan. This partnership has produced multiple Top Winning Siberians in the USA and Japan.

Snoebear Siberians is situated on 10 secluded acres in northwestern Pennsylvania.  We believe that our dogs are members of our family first, and show dogs second. Each litter at Snoebear is raised in our home, alongside our family, with the highest amount of care and nurture. We feel that all dogs deserve to be loved unconditionally and selectively place puppies in only the best homes.

When it comes to breeding, emphasis is placed on quality, not quantity. Each Snoebear litter is carefully planned - evaluating pedigrees with structure and type; strict attention is also paid to health and temperament. We pride ourselves with the constant recognition our dogs achieve in the show ring, celebrating multiple generations of Snoebear-bred champions, grand champions and best in specialty show winners.
